We are thrilled to announce that the 58th Space Coast Art Festival will take place October 14-15, 2023, at The Avenue® Viera in Viera, FL! Viera is a beautiful upscale master planned community just north of Melbourne on Florida’s Space Coast.
The Avenue Viera is a unique outdoor lifestyle center concept consisting of a dynamic mix of premier national retailers, select local merchants and specialty restaurants. It is conveniently located just off I-95 for easy access.
SCAF will be held on the spacious paved parking lot of this popular and busy shopping center. The Avenue® Viera will be promoting SCAF in addition to SCAF’s digital, social and print media. And there is plenty of free parking for Artists and Patrons alike!
Artists will be jury-selected to exhibit in this outdoor fine art show, one of the top shows in the Southeast, drawing outstanding master artists from throughout the United States and beyond. All our judges are required to have an MFA and to live outside of Florida. The Festival is an intimate event with space for limited and select number of artists allowing visitors to spend more time with less duplication within categories.
The Space Coast Art festival is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. We have been praised by participating artists for being artist friendly and for our teams of cheerful, helpful Volunteers.
Our low fees are $40 Jury Fee, additional $25 for late jury fee, and $350 Booth Fee. LATE FEE WAIVED!

Jury Fee to be paid online at time of registration via JAS.
Booth Fee, to be paid by check or credit card no later than August 30, 2023. Full instructions on Mail-in Information Sheet (click here for form).
Last Year’s Award Winners are automatically juried in, therefore no Jury Fee is required. However, you must still complete the JAS Registration by July 21, 2023, and then submit the Information Sheet with Booth Fee to SCAF by August 30, 2023.)

ARTIST STATEMENT
An Artist Statement describing the technique, materials,
and processes used in the creation of your entire body of work must be included with each Juried Art Services entry. Co-artists must describe the collaboration.

SPACE COAST ART FESTIVAL® 2023 RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. To be eligible for judging, all artwork must be the artist’s original work, must be marked with a selling price or be marked “Not for Sale”. Two-dimensional work must be framed or gallery-wrapped and signed.
2. Limited edition prints and unframed two-dimensional work are not eligible for judging but may be displayed in a portfolio or bin.
3. All artists accepted into SCAF must personally exhibit their work. All named artists must provide a photo ID during Roll Call each morning.
BOOTH DISPLAY
1. Artists may set up on Friday afternoon. Artist must be present and open by 9:00AM on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday. The show remains open until 5 PM on Saturday and 4 PM on Sunday.
2. Artists must prominently display the booth card provided by SCAF identifying the artist’s name, space number, category, and city and State of residence. Only original work by the artist may be exhibited and no ribbons, awards, or gallery cards from other shows may be displayed. Any winning artwork from a previous SCAF that is displayed is not eligible for cash awards and must be clearly marked “NOT ELIGIBLE FOR JUDGING”.
3. Each exhibitor is responsible for the collection of Florida sales tax (7%) on all sales made during the festival. Tax forms will be provided in the artist’s packet at Roll Call.
4. One booth space is assigned per entrant. If available, a second booth space may be purchased for an additional booth fee. No changes in booth location may be made without the express approval of Registration.
5. Items not permitted in SCAF: any trademark infringement; ALL BUY/SELL; jewelry not totally handmade, including settings; ceramics cast from commercial molds; crocheted or knitted items; string art; candles; decoupage; china painting; shell craft; any item made from kits or mass produced; commercial displays of picture frames, art supplies, loose stones, belt buckles, etc.
6. Artists not in compliance with the rules and regulations of SCAF will be ineligible for cash awards, required to leave the festival, and denied future admission. SCAF reserves the right to refuse any application.
7. Acceptance into the Space Coast Art Festival® is a commitment to SCAF and there will be NO REFUNDS
AGREEMENT BETWEEN ARTIST(S) AND SCAF:
I/we agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations as printed in this Application Form Document and I/we accept full responsibility, and personal liability for loss and damage in connection with Space Coast Art Festival®, Inc. (SCAF) including, but not limited to, loss, theft or breakage of items entered in the festival. I/we understand that the decision of the judges is final. In the event of inclement weather, I/we understand that SCAF will not refund any Exhibitor Fee or reschedule the festival. Further, I/we hereby release and authorize SCAF to utilize the images submitted herewith for any trade, advertising or publicity purpose and the SCAF assumes no responsibility for loss or damage of said property.
