The Vero Beach Art Club is pleased to announce our application is now available for the 72nd annual Under the Oaks Fine Arts and Crafts show.

The Vero Beach Art Club is pleased to announce our application is now available for the 72nd annual Under the Oaks Fine Arts and Crafts show. 

We invite you to apply online through Juried Art Services.  Join your fellow artists and craftsmen under the majestic live oaks in Riverside Park as we celebrate the Vero Beach Art Club's premier annual juried art event.  Each year crowds number more than 60,000 for this three-day prestigious event.  The 2023 event promises to be better than ever with our strong advertising promotions. Approximately 210 artists are invited to participate in the show with ribbons and monetary awards presented in numerous categories.  Under the Oaks offers easy set-up and take-down, artists parking behind booths in most cases, booth sitting, breakfast each morning, adjacent offsite RV parking, and a group of volunteers eager to make your stay in Vero Beach a pleasant experience.

No RV’s or large box trucks in park, if this is the case all artwork to be hand carted in!

  • One category per application.  Booth tent is 10’ x 10’ with 2’ in between. Maximum height may be restricted to10 ft due to trees.  Sorry, no double booth spaces.   See below for corner and wide spaces. Corners and wide spaces will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. 
     
  • Four digital images required with online application at www.JuriedArtServices.com  (3 images of artwork, 1 of display booth for each application).
     
  • 2022 Best in Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Award Winners will be automatically juried in.  They still must apply and pay the admin and booth fee. 
     
  • Application deadline is October 21st, 2022.  Late deadline is October 28th additional fee applies.  Payment must be postmarked by October 21st  to avoid the $25 late fee. 
     
  • Administrative fee of $35 will be required at application, payable online via paypal or credit card through Juried Art Services..  Late deadline fee is an additional $25.
     
  • Booth fee, corner fee, extra large space, is payable upon notification of “INVITED.”  Applicable checks must be received within 20 days of notification…no exceptions.  If your check is not received by then, your position as “INVITED” will be rescinded and wait-listed applicants will be called.
     
  • Booth Fee is $420.00
     
  • Corner space (if available) requires an additional $175.00 check.
     
  • An wide space (show on one side) (if available) requires an additional $100.00 check. 
     
  • Upon notification of acceptance, all applicable checks should be made payable to "Vero Beach Art Club"

Please make sure the name on your check matches your application submission name.  Indicate any identity discrepancies if using business checks. Also, include your application number and any special requests, such as booth number, corner space, wide space, etc.  There will be no refunds after December 9TH, 2022.

Acceptance notifications (Invited) will appear in your Juried Art Services account on or before November 19th and you will also be notified by an email from Vero Beach Art Club on the same day

Show Judging is based on the overall body of work in category applied in. Judging takes place at 9am on Friday with the awards presented on Saturday Morning. This is a family-oriented show in a lovely, artist friendly setting.  We look forward to receiving your application. 

2023 UNDER THE OAKS SHOW

GENERAL RULES

  • ​If space allows, park your vehicle behind your booth space but not within 6’ of an oak tree and not behind another artist's space or within their area.
     
  • Set your booth up within the ground markings.  Do not move the flag markings.  Only white tents are allowed.  No generators are allowed other than those specified in application rules. Electricity is not available.
     
  • In the event of emergency, please exit the rear of your booth and evacuate to the parking lot across from the main show entrance. 
     
  • Place your Exhibitor ID card at the upper right front of your booth to facilitate judging.
     
  • Do not display awards won at previous shows.
     
  • No music in your booth or other noise making during show hours.
     
  • No smoking, candles, or other open flames are allowed.
     
  • No pets are allowed.
     
  • You are responsible for the safety and security of your booth.  The Vero Beach Art Club is not liable for losses.  We have 24 hour professional security and city police drive-bys. Exhibitor may not enter the show grounds between 6 pm and 6 am and must exit the park by 7 pm each night.  If you do experience a problem, call 9-1-1.  For non-emergency info, call the Vero Beach Police at 772-978-4600.
     
  • RV parking is available across the street in the field beyond the parking lot.  If you stay on those grounds overnight, please be considerate of others with your noise level. No tents allowed on off-site parking grounds.  Restrooms are available in that area all night.
     
  • Trash should be thrown in receptacles daily.

 DISPLAY RULES

  • All artwork must be the original creation of the artist, be for sale and clearly marked with a price.
     
  • Artist/Artist team must be present during show hours.  No substitutes.
     
  • In categories Oil/Acrylics, Graphics, Pastels, Watercolors, only original work may be hung.  Reproductions must be clearly labeled as such, and displayed in a browse box only.
     
  • Photographs must be signed and consecutively numbered (in editions not to exceed 300).
     
  • No giclees (in any category) may be hung.
     
  • Quality Assurance show monitors will be by daily to check your display and ID badge, which is to be worn during entire time of the show.
     
  • Artists found in violation of show Standards will be asked to comply. If found in non-compliance a 2nd time, they will be asked to leave and disqualified from future Under the Oaks shows.
     
  • Closing down before the show ends on any day is cause for disqualification for future Under the Oaks shows.
