The Petaluma Arts Center, in collaboration with the Petaluma Public Art Committee, welcomes submissions for the juried exhibition “Paint Petaluma.” The selected art will be reproduced onto banners and displayed on lampposts around Petaluma for one year. The original artwork will be on display at Petaluma Arts Center for 3 weeks, then auctioned off to local businesses, where it will be on display for the duration of the exhibition or longer.

Selected artwork will be eligible for cash awards. All genres will be accepted, but artwork must photograph well, and all selected artwork must be delivered ready to install. Further instructions will accompany acceptance letters.

The theme for this exhibition is Hidden Petaluma. Artists are asked to submit one digital image per entry by the deadline. No late submissions will be accepted. All artwork will be for sale.

Open only to artists living in Sonoma County.  Open to all media categories.
 

A R T W O R K  R E S T R I C T I O N S

There are no size restrictions, however, depending on the dimensions, if selected the banner may only display a detail of the artwork.
