Cowee Valley Pottery Festival

May 22-23, 2020

The Cowee Pottery School, festival promoter, is nestled
in the beautiful Cowee Valley in Franklin, North Carolina.

The first annual Cowee Valley Pottery Festival will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 22-23, 2020,
Memorial Day weekend.

Events will include:

Friday 6 - 9pm
Meet the Artist private exhibit and silent auction of your finest works
 

Saturday 10am - 4pm
Sales on the Green
 

 


Artists are encouraged to attend an invitation-only VIP private exhibit and sale on Friday evening, May 22. This event will include artist meet & greets and a silent auction with canapes and beverages, providing you with an opportunity to show and sell your most exceptional work.


Arrangements will be made, to the best of our ability, to provide artists with housing during the festival. This will include private homes, camping and hotel discounts.


Juried Show
Once the jury process is complete, all artists will be notified of standing by January 15. Payment of booth fee ($125) will be due no later than February 15. Cancel with refund no later than March 15, 2020.

All potters will be eligible for Customer’s Choice cash awards, including Best Booth/Display, Most Informative Potter and Most Beautiful Work.


Pottery Sale
Each artist will receive a 10x20 booth space, which provides ample storage behind tent space. In the event of rain, the sale will move indoors. Artists will need to provide their own tent and fixtures. There will be onsite security after show hours. Please submit a photo example of your booth setup when submitting your application & photos of your work. Commissions to the promotors of 20% on Friday night reception sales only. All other sales are commission free.
