The Cultural Council is pleased to showcase art by professional Palm Beach County artists working in a wide variety of media in our next summer exhibition titled “Cultural Council Biennial 2015.” This open call will be juried by Elizabeth Sobieski, a Contributing Writer to The Art Economist. Also a screenwriter and producer based in both New York and Los Angeles, Sobieski has written on arts-related subjects for such publications as New York Magazine, the New York Post, Avenue Magazine and Cosmopolitan. The juried process will be handled through Juried Art Services, a Palm County-based organization that has juried some of the nation’s leading exhibitions. Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, 2nd and 3rd places as well a People’s Choice award, an opportunity for patrons to vote for their favorite.
