WORKS for AUCTION
A 50/50 Win Win for Palm Beach County Artists!
“Our goal is to support Palm Beach county artists, by providing a primary or additional
source of income to meet their financial needs and keep them working
throughout this crisis and beyond.” Say Webster and Barrero.

Art Synergy is inviting artists from Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Broward Counties to apply to the call for artists for the Art Synergy AID Auction and The Altruistic Art Auction 2020 to be held online on May 22, and May 29, 2020 respectively.
Art Synergy AID Auction will be held on May 22, 2020 and The Altruistic Art Action facilitated by Hindman Auctioneers will be held on May 29, 2020, the auctions will benefit the Art Synergy AID Fund.
All artists wishing to participate are required to submit an application to the jury and must apply via Juried Art Services.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Art Synergy AID AUCTION and The Altruistic Art Auction is open to all professional artists who reside and work in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Broward Counties. All work to be exhibited must be well conceived, expertly executed, and arrive ready to hang.
If you need a pedestal or monitor YOU MUST PROVIDE IT. All work should reflect the individuality of the artist. Giclee reproductions of paintings will not be accepted.

2D, 3D, Video/Film, Installation Art and Performance Art
ENTRY RULES
The images submitted must fully reflect the work to be auctioned. An artist who works in more than one medium category, must submit an application in each category. If one application is accepted, only work in that category may be exhibited.
IMAGES
Each applicant may submit (1) one image of the work to be shown for consideration by the jury. 3-D art may submit 2 images. File format: JPEG only.
Images must comply with those required by Juried Art Services
All image files must be labeled with:
artist name_title_size.jpg or they will not be considered.
If your work is accepted, there is a requirement that the work must be held and available for sale for 90 day post notification of acceptance for both auctions.
JURY DECISIONS
Jurors' selections are based on the level of technical skill, quality of workmanship, and originality of design as represented in the images submitted. All works accepted will be included in the Art Synergy Aid Auction on May 22, 2020 with the exception of those works selected for the Hindman Auction on May 29, 2020.
**All submitted 2D or hanging works must be wired and ready for hanging, loose flat work not framed (I.e. prints, photographs, etc.) will not be acceptable entries.
All Work Selected will be delivered to The Box Gallery on May 16, 2020 between 2-6 PM
The Art Synergy Aid Auction
and The Altruist Art Auction Funds:
All funds raised from the 50 lot auction will be used to support grants that are distributed from the Art Synergy Aid Fund.
All artists will also benefit from 50% of the sale of their works on the ART SYNERGY AID AUCTION and the Hindman auction block. The other 50% of the sale will be donated to the Art Synergy Aid Fund as well.
Art Synergy Mission:
Art Synergy is the unique countywide movement of artists, business, and civic leaders committed to unifying and promoting the diverse culture of Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s vibrant arts community. Our goal is to broaden the education and culture of our children through the arts via joint parent/child experiences.

Note: The amount of the contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of money (and the fair market value of property other than money) contributed over the value of goods or services provided by the organization.
