  Art Synergy Exhibition/Art Palm Beach

Art Synergy is inviting national and international artists to apply to the call for artists for Art Synergy Biblio2020 at Art Palm Beach.  This will be our 7th year at this unique event and we are proud to once again be a part of it. This is the first year that the call is open internationally.

Art Palm Beach Art Fair, January 31-February 3, 2020 to be held in the Palm Beach County Convention Center located at 650 Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As the art world sets its sights on South Florida, Next Level Fairs is reshaping the art fair concept for the 23rd edition of ArtPalmBeach to connect exhibitors and collectors in dynamic new ways. The trendsetting founders of major fairs Art Miami and Art Asia Hong Kong since 1990 are once again breaking ground with a multifaceted redesign to make spaces as creative as the artwork on view.

All artists wishing to participate are required to submit an application to the jury and must apply via Juried Art Services.

The non-refundable fee for the online application is $50. Three pieces may be submitted.  The width of 2D art cannot exceed 48”.

The deadline to apply is January 15, 2020

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Art Synergy/Art Palm Beach Exhibition is open to all professional artists. All work to be exhibited must be well conceived, expertly executed, and arrive ready to hang.

If you need a pedestal or monitor YOU MUST PROVIDE IT. All work should reflect the individuality of the artist. Giclee reproductions of paintings will not be accepted.

The art submitted must in some form represent "the book".

A juried exhibition celebrating the book as art. Visual artist have for centuries created illuminated manuscripts, visual journals, art books, sculptures and other renditions and interpretations of “book.”

Since antiquity the creation and construction of books, be they bound or lose sheets, has served as an important and vital means of documenting and preserving culture with text and/or imagery.

From the original scrolls of Ancient Egypt created on papyrus to the magnificent sculptural books of Anselm Kiefer created of lead sheets - the book has taken many forms.

This year Art Synergy will present Bibilo 2020 at the Art Palm Beach Fair. Here's your chance to create something really different! Books can be created in all kinds of media... sculptures, video, painting, mixed media, animations... your minds the limit!

Art Synergy, a non-profit organization, was fortunate to have caught the eye of the Lesters and through their auspices, the organization has received a booth at the Art Palm Beach for the past 5 years, with 2019 being the sixth Art Synergy Exhibition once again looking forward to a great exhibition.

Art Synergy has grown considerably since its inception and our volunteer staff and support has grown along with it.  The organization, run by Rolando Chang Barrero and Ilene Gruber Adams, artists and advocates, holds several meetings yearly, open to the public, where we request help from the community to work with us in everything from planning, to finance hanging the shows.  We look forward to another successful year and cannot thank the Lesters enough for the support they have shown us.

Mission:
Art Synergy is the unique countywide movement of artists, business, and civic leaders committed to unifying and promoting the diverse culture of Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s vibrant arts community. Our goal is to broaden the education and culture of our children through the arts via joint parent/child experiences.
