The Town of Bethany Beach is in its 18th year of hosting juried fine craft artists in its annual Seaside Craft Show. The show is a highly anticipated event which hosts over 100 exhibitors and draws approximately 20,000 visitors to the beautiful boardwalk and ocean-lined streets of downtown Bethany Beach. This charming town is a small and popular family-friendly resort in coastal Delaware with quaint shops, restaurants, museums, and welcoming places to stay. The Seaside Craft Show marks the start of the summer season and is heavily promoted to Bethany’s residents and regional visitors and its extensive social media followers.
Sponsored by the Cultural and Historical Affairs Committee, the show will also offer the added attraction of live music.
The June 3rd, 2023 show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for one day only. There is no rain date.
Application and Booth Fees/Requirements
Your $30 application fee is nonrefundable. Deadline to apply is February 1, 2023.
· Rate for a 10’x10’ booth: $200
· Rate for a 12’x 5’ booth: $125
· Nonprofits: $100 for a 10’x10’; $65 for a 12’x 5’
Only the space will be provided. Artist must provide all display items including tables, table covers draped to the floor, chairs, and E-Z up tents or canopies not to exceed booth footprint. Due to proximity to the ocean, tent weights are required, minimum 40lbs per corner. Electricity is available. Please specify if needed.
Craft artist must apply for only one category and be present during the show. No booth sharing unless both artists collaborate on every piece.
Exhibit Space Requests
Exhibit location may be requested, but there is no guarantee. The
Seaside Craft Show is designed with multiple factors considered including flow of foot traffic, visual impact, and proximity to similar artists. Please email any concerns or requirements.
If accepted, free parking will be provided in designated areas for loading, unloading, and during the show. Ramps are present, but artist must provide their own dolly and assistants.
Complimentary coffee and donuts will be available during load-in, and booth sitters will volunteer throughout the day.
Paper receipts should be available for purchases in the event of possible WIFI issues.
Selection Process
Please provide your artist statement along with 4 images of your work and 1 of your complete booth display. No buy/sell items or art on canvas will be accepted.
An independent jury panel will review quality, originality, and presentation of work in comparison with other applicants.
Acceptance to previous shows does not guarantee acceptance to the current show that you are applying for. The decision of the jury is final.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
The application fee is non-refundable. Prepare to exhibit RAIN OR SHINE.
Cancellation by craft artist: full refund if withdrawn by April 1st.
Cancellation by the Town of Bethany Beach: Extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events may require cancellation of the event with the option of rolling over to the next year or receiving a refund. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis and determined by the Seaside Craft Show committee in conjunction with the Town of Bethany Beach.
Waiver/Agreement
Craft artist releases the Town of Bethany Beach, its officers, employees, and appointees from all claims or causes of action for damages for personal injury (or wrongful death) or property damage arising out of or connected with participation in the Seaside Craft Show and agree to indemnify the Town against any claims brought by third parties for such damages. Artist also agrees to obtain their own liability insurance.
