7th ANNUAL NATIONAL JURIED ART COMPETITION & EXHIBITION (2-D MEDIA ONLY)

THEME:
Ink. Technique, skill and originality of style will be the main considerations for the entries accepted into this exhibit to be held at East End Arts on the East End of Long Island, NY.
MEDIUMS:
All INK Media including ballpoint, fountain pen, printmaking, tattoo ink (submitted as photos of tattoos) Sharpie, India ink, - any and every ink media except desktop printer ink are acceptable. Two-Dimensional Art Only
Must be the original work of one artist, no collaborations, no reproductions.
SUBMISSIONS:
Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 JPEGS may be submitted online, for the same entry fee.
AWARDS:
'Best in Show’ winner will receive a seven-day stay in East End Arts’ Artist Residence near Hamptons’ museums and galleries, plus $1,000 and inclusion in a group show at Ille Arts Gallery in Amagansett NY. Winner will also receive 100 postcards announcing the show featuring her/his artwork.
SIZE:
Maximum 30" wide x 30" high, including the frame.
ABOUT THE JUROR:
Born in Rome, Sara DeLuca is the owner and director of Ille Arts Gallery, one of the foremost fine arts purveyors in the Hamptons of Long Island, New York. To learn more about Ms. DeLuca visit eastendarts.org/gallery/jurors.html
CALENDAR:
Deadline for online submissions is April 9, 2018. Late submission deadline is April 16, 2018, for an additional $20 late fee. Submissions will be accepted between now and the deadline. Artists will be notified of the juror's decision on or before June 1, 2018. If accepted, please follow the presentation and shipping rules as specified on our website. FEES:
There will be a $50 entry fee payable at the time of online submission. Each artist may enter up to 5 jpg images for consideration. The late submission entry fee between April 9 and April 15, 2018 is $70.
OPENING RECEPTION will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018, 5 – 7 PM at the East End Arts Gallery, located at 133 E. Main Street, Riverhead, NY 11901.
