Revere Academy
2017 Tahitian Pearl Jewelry Contest
Eligibility: Open to all past and present students of the Revere Academy and past or present Revere Academy instructors, this competition invites jewelry artists to pursue new creative designs featuring Tahitian Pearls. Two Grand Prize winners (one in the student category and one in the instructor category) will each receive 2 round trip tickets to Tahiti from Los Angeles via Air Tahiti Nui.
Application: Must submit 2 to 3 high resolution (300 dpi minimum) professional quality photos on plain background (maximum size is 5MB per image) of your entry. Jewelry must have at least 1 pearl of Tahitian origin, plus an artist’s statement of 250 words or less.
Winners will be selected on the basis of originality, design, marketability and craftsmanship. Entries fit into one of 3 categories: Revere Academy Student Jewelry under $1,500 and jewelry over $1,500 retail value, and Revere Academy Instructor jewelry.
An overall Student Grand Prize winner and Revere Academy Instructor Grand Prize will be selected from entries.

The winning pieces must be available for exhibition. The contest is sponsored by Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, Black Market Pearls and Air Tahiti Nui.
Jury: Entries will be evaluated by a jury of three award winning jewelry designers: Alan Revere, Sarah Graham and Barbara Heinrich.
