OPA is pleased to announce that the Eastern Regional Exhibition will be hosted by Anderson Fine Art Gallery, located in St. Simons Island, Georgia, from November 17 through December 16, 2017.  Anderson Fine Art Gallery is hosting an opening reception and awards ceremony on Friday, November 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for artists, friends, press and the public with the awards presentation at 7:30 p.m.  Associate and Signature member entries canvas size may not exceed 480 square inches.

The total awards will be approximately $11,500, including a $4,000 Best In Show.

The awarding juror will be an internationally renowned Signature or Master Signature member.

Eligible states and provinces include: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Newfoundland, North Carolina, Nova Scotia, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Artists must be either a 2017 OPA paid member or have submitted an application for membership for 2017 to be eligible to submit an entry in this exhibition.   Artists whose residency is in question must provide OPA with documentation certifying meeting residency requirements.  See Bylaws Article II L on-line for definition of residency requirements.
