Exhibition Theme

Masks Puppets Games: The person seeing a mask vs. the person wearing it, the puppet vs. the puppeteer, players on opposing sides of a game – artists interpret the masks we wear, puppet people and games we play in real life and in the imagination.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly with some choosing to feature the physical aesthetics and design elements, while others may choose to focus on the conceptual connotations.
